1960 Barry Bennet with resin inlay in a cedar d-fin 9’ 6” x 22.5” wide x 3.25” thick. This board was brought to me to be restored for a 66th birthday present as it had originally been purchased when the owner was 17 years old. The board needed extensive work and after fixing all the damage to the board I fitted a cedar and balsa nose and tail block and made a new decal and rego sticker. This was followed by painting the pinlining around the rail and deck and finally finish-coating and polishing the board. When a surprised owner picked the board up he was so excited and said that the board hadn’t looked that good when it was new. The board is now hanging up in his place down at Century point. "Thanks so much Rod”, says Les.
